Python Regius
Ball pythons make excellent pets! They are relatively easy to care for and docile. They are the perfect size – big enough to be impressive, but not too big. What more could you want?!
These are some of the most neglected snakes out there. They are inexpensive, easy to breed, and come in a spectacular array of different color morphs. Unfortunately that all adds up to more ball pythons out there than people need or want. It is quite common for families to buy a ball python as a pet and then grow tired of it.
Ball pythons can live for more than 30 years! This is a life long commitment. Check out Ozzie by clicking on his button below – he was born in 1991!!
Please take note: there are two ball pythons seen in this picture. It is a common mis-belief that these animals are social. They should never be housed together. Co-habbing can cause severe stress and fighting between individuals. Go to Angus and Malcolm’s page to learn more about this.
