Caramel Jaguar Carpet Python
Indie is a foster animal at Snake Haus for the Pacific Northwest Herpetological Society. The caramel jaguar is a color morph that arose in the coastal carpets. We were told by Indie’s previous owner that he is an irian jaya. We are not aware of this color morph being found in irian jayas so we suspect he is actually a coastal. Either way he is gorgeous! We are lucky to have a beautiful Jaguar carpet python that is not effected by the neurological deficit gene that can sometimes accompany this color morph. Visit Short Round’s page to learn more about that aspect of the jaguar genes.
